23-26 July 2026, Duisburg (GER)
The 2026 World Rowing Under 23 Championships took place from 23 to 26 July in Duisburg, Germany, on the Wedau Regatta Course in the Duisburg Sportpark. One of the key international stages for the next generation of elite rowers, the event brought together more than 600 athletes from 49 nations.
For Filippi, the Championships ended with another strong result at world level: crews racing in Filippi boats won 35 medals overall, including 9 gold, 12 silver and 14 bronze medals. This represents 58% of the total medals awarded during the regatta.
The first day of finals awarded 19 medals and immediately showed the international reach of the Filippi fleet. Australia led the way with five medals, including three golds in the Women’s Pair, in the PR3 Men’s and Women’s Single Sculls. Greece also celebrated a brilliant double, taking gold in the Men’s Pair and the Women’s Double Sculls.
Filippi boats reached the podium with several nations during the opening finals. Bronze medals came with Italy in the Women’s Quadruple Sculls, Ireland in the Men’s Double Sculls and Spain in the Women’s Four, adding further depth to a medal count spread across different crews, events and rowing programmes.
